Faculty of Medicine of Ljubljana has a rich and illustrious history dating back 100 years. To celebrate this significant milestone, they sought to showcase the history of the faculty in an exhibition that would take visitors on a journey through time.
Working closely with the head of the Institute of History of Medicine, prof. dr. Zvonka Zupanic Slavec, we crafted a total of 15 posters that highlighted significant moments in the faculty's history. These posters were designed to be visually engaging, combining historical images and facts in a way that was both informative and entertaining.
The brief I was given called for a traditional design aesthetic, with a touch of modern. To accomplish this, we utilized a range of design elements and techniques, including a mix of traditional and bold modern typography and color schemes.
Once complete, the posters were displayed in the entrance hall of the Faculty of Medicine. The exhibition not only accomplished showcasing the history of the faculty but also inspiring a sense of pride and appreciation for the achievements of the institution over the past century.
